Bands
Hartford Union High School has a proud tradition of excellence in music. HUHS features two bands, a concert band, and a symphonic band, which provide students an opportunity to explore many different genres of music. The bands combine to create the HUHS Marching Band and Pep Band. Jazz Ensemble is an integral part of the program and is offered to students outside of the school day so access is encouraged for all students in the music department. The band program often travels to provide students with experiences that augment classroom learning and enrich student performance opportunities.
The bands are led by Mr. Conor Johnson, Director of Instrumental Music. Ms. Megan Braunschweig and Mr. Matthew Bragstad provide individualized learning opportunities to our students.
