About The Club
While building a fully functional airplane, students will be mentored in learning to work with others, reading diagrams and plans, think 3-dimensionally, measure/cut/bend/drill/fasten, overcome mistakes, and ultimately see, or even fly, something created with their own hands. Additionally, active and dedicated members will have the option for pilot ground school and flight lessons.
KMYA is a program for high school students to construct, maintain, and fly an RV-12 aircraft.
This program is made possible by the generosity of a group of local aviation enthusiasts who believe this experience will open students to STEM career options, help them develop confidence and discipline, and prepare them to be the future LEADERS for their generation.
