Oriole Fan Club
The Oriole Fan Club is a new student club that will focus on increasing school spirit by coordinating “dress-up days” for games, promoting upcoming events, assisting in coordinating mascot functions, and more!
This group is open to all HUHS students interested in being part of the "Caged Crazies"! We're looking for great ideas on how we can get students at our events and more involved.
Ozzy The Oriole
In 2012, HUHS purchased an Oriole mascot costume, thanks to a generous donation from Ford Motor Company, as part of the HUHS & Hartford Ewald's 'Drive One 4 UR School' event that took place in the fall of 2011. The funds received from this event were required to be used for a project within our Co-Curricular program. As a way to increase school spirit and represent ALL Co-Curricular programs, it was decided that the money would be used to purchase a new Oriole mascot costume!
Purpose:
Hartford Union High School's mascot is Ozzy the Oriole. The purpose of our mascot is to represent Hartford Union High School and its communities while symbolizing community spirit, entertaining fans, and promoting good sportsmanship.
